8th Grade Lab - Engineering Design

The 8th grade robotics lab introduces students to a formal engineering design process. The goal of these lab lessons will help students gain exposure to solving problems with hands-on, open-ended design projects. The engineering process will include maintaining an engineering journal on a daily basis that includes entries for design, prototyping, sketches of solutions and class presentations to name a few. Students will focus on solving engineering challenges using packaging design. The students will work in a team-orientated environment.
